We have several clients using Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows 7 who encountered problems with Kguard Security DVR – Playback Error – HiDvrOcx Create File Failed! The solution is to uncheck Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer). Follow the steps below.

1. Go to Internet Options
2. Go to Security
3. Uncheck Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)
4. Click apply
5. Click OK
6. Close Internet Explorer
