So with that in mind, we wanted to share a few tips on what you can do to help save your electronics from damage, and thus, limit the amount of money you spend for repairs!
Here’s the list:
- Don’t leave your equipment with LCD screens in the heat. The direct sun and heat, in general, can actually damage your LCD screens. Take them with you or store them in an indoor room.
- Try to keep the equipment covered from dust. If you can help it, try to keep your equipment from getting too much dust in it or on it. Dust can also contribute to creating more heat than your electronics can handle, causing warping or other damage.
- If your equipment has openings, where you can clearly see the electronics, spray it out with CANNED AIR every once in a while. You can buy this air in a can at office supply stores.
- Make sure to have your machines and equipment checked for regular maintenance, at least once a year, before or at the end of your busiest season. This will prevent any problems from becoming costly, expensive repairs.
- If you notice a small problem now, FIX IT – Now! Rather than let the problem go and “just deal with it” because it still “works”, you really should go ahead and fix it. If not, the problem can grow and possibly cause more issues, later on. This can even cause you to have to buy a brand new machine or piece of equipment!
