How to make a favicon

This is a post of favicon tutorial. Favicon means the beautiful picture which is shown beside the website URL. Two types of favicons can be made still picture and animated picture. Easily you can add favicon on your blog. Using favicon your blog will be more gorgeous. You can use your own picture or any logo etc. Remember that match the color of favicon picture and your theme. It makes nice combination. I prefer it.

1. Click here. You will get a new window. Browse from your pc and select your desired picture.

2. Then click on generate favicon. The favicon will be created within few seconds. Download it. You can edit your favicon as your choice like text, color, background etc.

3. Unzip the folder or file. There you will get two types of favicon are still picture and animated. A read me file will also available there.

4. Upload your selected picture or animated image by FTP account to public html in your blogsite.

5. Login your wordpress panel and click on editor from appearance. Next click on Header (header.php) from right side. If you upload still image by FTP account then copy it
or if you upload animated image then copy it


And paste it before the body tag.
At last save settings.

Now end. Your favicon will be displayed within few minutes. Sometimes may be longer. You can add favicon in your blog this way. Another way is adding favicon plugin. It is also easy.
