CPU Benchmark – How fast is my computer?

I gathered the most common processor used in desktop packages available in the market today.

Here’s an interesting CPU benchmark on these processors.

Based on the chart above:

Intel Atom is more than twice faster than an old Intel Pentium 4 – 3.0GHz.

Intel Pentium G620 is faster than AMD Athlon II X2 260 – with more or less same pricing.

Intel Pentium G620 is 3X faster than Intel Atom

Intel Core i3-2120 is 2X faster than Intel Pentium G620 and 5X faster than Intel Atom

Conclusion:

Although Intel Atom is the cheapest, for a regular office computer or for business like internet cafe…. Intel Pentium G620 or AMD Athlon II X2 260 is the value for money.
